Dried Mascara Reviver review.

Anyways! I blogged about my loot from Daiso on my previous post. And one thing that i bought was this thing called le Dried Mascara Reviver (DMR). Yesh it haz teh powah to revive your dead dried mascara to life! *DEN DEN DEN*

This is my dried-out mascara. D:

So i spreaded the mascara wand 3 times on a clean finger and only THIS little came out. 

 

This is le DMR. Looks like eye drops to me.

When you opened the cap of the DMR, you'll see something like this. 
WHAT NO HOLE HOW TO SQUEEZE THE LIQUID OUT?!

So you'll have to cut off the round thing there loh! . __ .

YAAAY CAN SQUEEZE OUT THE LIQUID LIAO! 8D

OMG i captured water in motion! OAO
So yeah, the instructions said 'squeeze a few drops' but it thought it won't be enough so i ended up squeezing about 10 drops of the DMR. 8D

After that, use the mascara wand and 'stir' the mascara and DMR together.
Nao, time to test it out!

WAHH! IT'S BACK TO NORMAL! OAO
I spreaded the mascara wand 3 times also on my clean thumb and THIS much came out! 8D

So the DMR really revives mascara! It really is super duper uber affordable! Only RM 5! Repurchase? YES DEFINITELY! <3

As mentioned, it can be found at any Daiso outlets. Not sure bout overseas but i see them in most of the Daiso shops in Malaysia. :o

No need to worry about drying mascara anymore! DMR shall rescue you! 8D

Cosplans for AFA and CF + shopping loot!

Okay, so there's like exactly ONE WEEK to AFA. And it's in Singapore! 8D

It's been like a zillion years since my last visit there! So excited to go back there after so long! Will be staying at Singapore for a 5 days and 4 nights. Two days fully dedicated for AFA! :P

Anyways, i'm here to reveal my cosplans for AFA, as well as CF. Since i'm too poor to afford anymore costumes. And i can't sew! D: Fine, i know some basic sewing skills and i did sew ribbons before but that's not enough! I really really really (x10000000000) wanted to take up sewing classes but i can't as i'm still studying fml! Maybe after SPM? Idk. But for now, i haz to burn hole in wallet to buy costumes. oTL

On to the cosplans! There are 3 days for AFA but i'm only attending day 2 and 3.

Day 2:

Mayuri Shiina from Steins; Gate.

COME ON! Everybody agrees that Mayuri is super kyut! What drove me to cosplay her is cuz she's not only cute, but she's a caring and lovely person! And sort of a peacemaker. :) Plus her costume is simple and airy.

Day 3:

Mayoi Hachikuji from Bakemonogatari.

AWW AIN'T SHE CUTE?! It seems like i have a liking for cute characters. :P
I kinda like the Bakemonogatari series because it's not those lovey dovey and fighting type. More subtle yet mysterious. And Mayoi is one of my favorite characters from the series. :)
And her school bag is so goddamn cute OMG! Plus her costume is pretty much airy too.

Oh! Here are some pics of the stuff i just got from my taobao and local shopping spree. :)

My Mayuri dress! <3 It came a little too long so it needs to be altered. And the hat is too small to be worn if i were to wear a wig. GAHH! Shall do some altering to that too.

My Mayoi dress! <3 Didn;t bought this from taobao though. It was locally tailored by Kikyo, a well-kn-own tailor for cosplay costumes. Love the cherry at the bottom! It was painted on but i was hoping that it would be sewn on. ;__; Shall re-edit it in future by myself!

Annnd lastly, my Mayoi bag! 8D It was locally tailored too. By a really awesome tailor Mikano. It turn out quite nice! Though it is a little too big. D: My fault anyway, gave her measurements which are too big. But nevertheless it's super cute! :3

Some other stuff i bought too are Mayoi and Mayuri wigs, black boots and a pocket watch for Mayuri. BUT. Something went wrong... Instead of getting a nice pocket watch, i got these.

Some random fur tail key chains! D: Was so shocked and mad! I inquired Lumix who helped me order my stuff and she too was shocked. But there's nothing i can do so i had to sell 'em off to get back my money and get a new pocket watch! Luckily Fenix from CF forums bought them once i posted it in the forums. Thanks alot! <3

Loot i got from Daiso! An angled brush, pink cheek blush, duo eyelash glue,dried mascara reviver, a green bangle for Mayoi and some partial lash! :3 Reviews coming up!

And also a pair of sunglasses and fake specs from Chictoe Fashion at FB! OMG they're too cute to not buy! Love the ribbon on the top maxx! The shop owner even gave me free pos laju! Thanks dear! <3

Still have some parts of my costumes to complete. Like the small accessories and props etc. Oh, and some wig trimming. *dies* And i have to pack my luggage too gahh! Hope i'll manage to complete them by this friday!

Or last resort, i can always skip school to complete 'em! I mean no one attends school anymore since the holidays are like next week! xD

Lens + Make up review.

Yey muh first review post! :D

First of all, i'm sorry if the pics are too ugly or too blur etc etc. Am using a compact camera and the lighting in my room is really phail especially at night. :/
And most of them are taken at night some more... . ___ .

Anyways, i'll start of with my lens review!

Brand: GEO.
Series: Fresh series.
Colour: Grey.

Here's how it'll look like if you're under bright light or in a shopping mall.

Annnnd here's how it'll look like if you're under low light, out in the streets at night etc. Yeaahh, it'll look kinda dark and black. ;__;

I bought this pair so i can wear it for my mom's colleague's wedding dinner. Aiyaaa, we only go for wedding dinners once in awhile right? So might as well look EXTRA NICE once in awhile too right? xD

Okay, so here's my verdict! :

Color: 3/5
Enlargement: 1/5
Comfort: 4/5

Love the color alot! Not too obvious yet not too dark (unless under dim light). Perfect for daily wear! The enlargement effect is poor as it's 14mm lens. But my eyes are naturally *cough* big *cough* so i think it didn't have much effect when i wear them. But for peepol who has small pupils i think you'll see a difference. :) And of course, have been wearing GEO lenses since last year so of course it's super comfortable! Imo, GEO is one of the most comfortable lenses among others, thought it still cannot beat EOS. (Y)

Next up, it's the make up review! 8D

Few weeks ago, i was searching around LYN forums for some cheap make up as usual heh. And i found a thread selling NYX lips from USA. NYX is one of those 'budget make up' line from the US which is quite famous among teenagers. First of all, the price is affordable and second, they have a wide selection of choices on lipsticks, lip gloss, eye shadows, eyeliners etc!

I've bought four NYX lipsticks and tried out the colors! Pictures below. :)

From left: Honey, B52 (weird name for a lipstick and it indeed it's name is the weirdest among all.), Mauve, Orange Soda.

This is my lip without any lip products. Sorry for the water at my lower lip as i washed my lips. ><

Was trying out my Panty wig therefore the blonde hair. xD
So the lippies colour turned out, well, okay. Not of my expectation but what you paid is what you get right? It's RM10 per lippy btw.

My two fav colours are B52 (despite the weird name xD) and Honey. B52 has a nice pinky color which suits my lip colour. Although i was looking for a more lighter pink color but B52's shade is okay. Shall get a lighter color next time! Honey is more of a nude lippy which i can use for crossplaying! But one thing about NYX lippies is that it's too creamy. Choose a wrong color and you'll end up like this! (Refer to Orange Soda pic) D: As you can see, Orange Soda is too 'orange' for my yellow skin tone. Peepol with pinkier skin tone might suit this more. And Mauve is waaaaaaaay too dark! :/ And it ended up in my mom's make up bag. *emo*

Repurchase? Maybe. But most prolly not. D:
