Missing out.

Yes I'm definitely missing out on a lot of things alright. :'(

First of all, I haven't been watching anime for like, the few months?! Been sort of banned from using the computer so my only source of entertainment and what I use to keep me updated is via my iPhone. Seriously my iPhone and I are inseparable. Facebook, Twitter whatever all thru my trusty iPhone. Heck, even this blog post is written from my iPhone wtf. :O

But the downside of an iPhone is that I can't browse videos. Except YouTube and Crunchyroll. Soi resorted on reading manga but I got bored easily and it's really troublesome reading on an iPhone. >:(

Animes I need to catch up on are :
1) Kuroko no Basuke.
- Sis is hooked on this show. The manga was great and I wanna see some live action ! :D Cosplays of this series have been mushrooming a lot too.

2) Inu x Boku SS...?
- Ikr. So outdated hah. Idk. Having second thoughts bout watching this. Hope it won't turn out to be like Guilty Crown. Have seem so many cosplay a from this series too so I assume this series is not bad?

3) Fate Zero.
- Yes, super duper outdated. Really love Fate Stay Night and I know that Fate Zero will be equally awesome !

Lastly, I have not been attending any ACG events since May! :( okay, maybe there wasn't much during that period of time but I did miss out AFA MY during June sighs. If I'm not mistaken, the next event after AFA MY is Animangaki which is on the 25th and 26th of August... A few days before SPM trials. Fml seriously.

Can't find any actual pic of the awesome logo so I had to screen save it. xD They're theme for this year is 'Koukou', which means high school! Thus the school badge-like logo.

Another event I'm bound to miss out because it's in the middle of trials is Taylor's Uni's Asaban Fest, held on 1st September.

Asaban Fest was one of the few events I attended before I even started cosplaying. Taylor's Anime Society didn't organize one last year but they're back now!

So I guess my next event will be end of this year's Comic Fiesta, after SPM! A really really long way to go but time flies. Won't be attending this year's AFA in Singapore during November as SPM will be ongoing then. Definitely want to attend Cosfest in Singapore next year! Now, who shall I drag along hoho. xD

On a different note, I might be retaking my Highway Court test (or better known as 'Undang') after trials after failing the first time. /sad
If I pass then I'm one step closer to learning to drive ! So excited ! :D

As for my trials, I'm really really worried inside. I'm afraid I won't score well and might end up disappointing my parents. Blame my laziness and love for sleeping and slacking. I mean really, I'm super worried yet I'm not doing anything. I know the consequences of not scoring well yet I still won't push myself. Guess I really wanted to fully enjoy my last year in high school and just chillax and enjoy lah! So fuck the MOE for taking away our last year of happiness and well, fuck SPM.

Sighs. I guess I'll kiss the college scholarship goodbye this time.

Of presents and empty wallets.

So my birthday is in two days time! :DHad a very scrumptuous Japanese food dinner with my parents last Saturday to celebrate my birthday earlier. Dad bought me a miny sponge cheesecake from Four Seasons rather tha nthose eat-until-sien Secret Recipe cakes. No offense! :P I do love their cakes but sometimes it's nice to have a little change.

No pictures cause dad brought the camera along on his business trip. Will upload them after he comes back!

Not only that! He also bought me the most-rave-about Instax Mini 7s Polaroid camera from Fujifilm!

Dad said he bought it at a camera fair in Hong Kong from a Fujifilm booth... So oh well, guess it comes in 2 different packaging. (Though i would prefer the paper box one! <<Oh shut up!)

I initially wanted the white + blue one cause blue was my favorite color. :o

But it was out of stock then and they were having a promotion and the only ones left were the pure white one, the brown one (ugliest imo. :P) and the white + pink one. So dad chose the pure white one over everything else. At first i was a little disappointed but now, the more i look at the pure white one, the more i love it! *w*

It came with a free camera strap, a packet of film and some manuals writen in 100000 languages LOL!

Anyways, recently, i've been browsing through Lowyat Forums a lot and found out that there are actually some pretty good deals on make up there! At the 'Stuff For Ladies' section. Have spent about RM100 of my Ang Pau money on down priced make up there! Good thing is, some items are used only a few times (and sterilised) and some even brand new! And the prices are crazily low.

Well it's the 10ml one. The retail price for the 50ml one is around RM161.80 (via SASA) so i consider this as a really good buy! Also bought a second hand Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Milky Lips lipstick for RM30. The previous owner has only swatched it once on her arm and never used it since then.

Oh yes, there are a few more but i'll only break the surprise when all the stuff arrives. :D
Sighs! It's true they say that Tauruses are 'thrifty and keeps a budget'. Which indirectly pokes us as major cheapskates HAHAHA! But i do admit i'm a cheapskate lah! Cannot help it! :P

And yesterday, i went to Watsons and saw that Silkygirl has released their new range of lip gloss! Instantly fell in love with them as the colors are so soft, nude and dollyyyyy! Tested them and swore to come back and get them soon. xD saves me money from buying the ever-expensive Candy Doll ones ohohoho! << Cheapskate syndrome.

Roasted alive!

Hmm, well not literally. But somewhat close! D:

So during the past weekend, i went for this camp organized by my school. The camp was situated at this rural-ish area with a beach nearby. I totally forgotten what's the name of the area cause it's really long! Something like Bakan Dala Seri Lelang or somewhere in between. O__O

Anyways, we had a lot of activities by the beach. And that means, a helluva time under the bright, warm sun. NOT. More like the scorching, burning sun! Since this is like a uniform body camp, it's more of a disciplined and somewhat strict camp than a calm and relaxing camp. So yeah, they even restricted time for us to bathe, eat, change clothes etc. I barely had time to apply sunblock, thus me getting really, really tanned. I was lucky to not getting sunburned cause i'm sure that hurts a lot. And i'm glad to have never experienced it yet. :o

I reached home at around 4pm on Sunday. After having a nice hot shower, unpacking and having some maggi mee, i drop dead on the bed at around 7pm. :P Making it one of my earliest bed time of all my life! (Y)

The next day at school, i got freaking lots of comment on me getting tan. Some even gave me the OAO face when i walked in class! Here are some of the annoying comments i got:

" WAHH! You got struck by lighting ah!"
" Did you like blew up the Bio lab last night?"
" OHHHH! You went sunbathing!"
" You look like a kakak. -__- "
" Did you put on the wrong foundation color?"

ETC!

Sighs.

Some close friends did cheer me up by saying stuff like "hitam manis" or "black beauty" lol. And one of them even came to a conclusion that i was really fair before, so even when i got a little tan it'll be quite obvious since others was to used to seeing me being fair. *w*

Oh, stop it you! >w<

But in reality, i did get really tanned. Comparison pics below!

Here's one with my arm. I know it's like super thick and big but anyways. The lighter part on the left is so-called my original skin color. But as i remembered, it got tanned once and just stayed like that and never got lighter.

Here comes the big diff! Darker one is my arm, lighter one is my thigh. So the skin color of my thigh is the original skin color when i was born. So fair ikr! :D I myself am shocked.

The next day, mom brought me on a shopping spree to help me get back to my original skin color. Spree includes a bottle of aloe vera gel and a shitload of masks.

This is just part of the masks i bought. Others are for whitening whereas the ones on top are like 'after sun care' masks. Now, the Garnier whitening lotion which i bought centuries ago will come to good use!

One day i shall.

She's my favorite female character in Magi! Okay, maybe she's sorta the only main female character. Anyways, Cuz she's super independent! She doesn't rely on either Alibaba nor Aladdin. And also because,

SHE KICKS ASS. 8D

Manages to take down several men with just her bare fists (and legs) without any weapon! Her fists (and legs) are her weapons.

And i just realized that her name, Morgiana is super familiar.
I asked my mom and she told me that Morgiana is a character from Alibaba and the Forty Thieves.

Okay.

And she happens to be Alibaba's brother, Kassim's slave in his household.

Okaaaaaaaaaay.

Much alike to Magi actually. :o Except that Kassim is Alibaba's friend, not bro.

Morgiana also reminds me of  Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. Yeah, the Disney one. Jasmine is so much like her! Independent, not clingy and she kicks ass too! Well, not really, at least she knows how to protect herself. Unlike other princesses. Jasmine is also one of my fav Disney princess. :3

Practically nothing productive.

Time to check off my to-do list!

1) Practice make up!
- Don't really wanna check this off yet. D: I did some make up tests alright, but i still wanna tryout and experiment different styles. So far i did two, a practice one for Mayushii, which i think i did quite okay *selfpraise* and one guy-ish make up, which i think was okaaaaay lah but didn't look manly enough orz.

2) Loose weight and gain abs! Wtf. 
- YAAATTAAAA! Lost 1kg! 8D Not much, but quite satisfied. Made me believe that I CANZ. Le goal not achieved though, 2kg by end of this year. LE MOAR LE BETTER.

3) Complete missing parts of costumes for AFA!
- LOL THIS ALSO CANNOT CHECK OFF HAHAHAHAHAHA. I just realised that i have some missing parts for my Mayoi cosplay. But of course, am too lazeeee to start on eet. D: *slapselfforuberlaziness* I need someone to motivate me!

4) Do revision on Form 4 chapters. oTL
- Haven't start. Moar like not planning too hohoho.

5) Sort out cosplay plan for 2012!
- Will do this at the end of this year. ;w; Although i already sorted it out in my mind.
 
6) Earn okane.
- Moar like SPEND okane orz. Have been buying a lot of wigs recently for godknowswhat reason. Maybe i'm just too bored hmm. RM100 sure is a looooooooong way to go.

7) Hang out with friends more often.
- Checked and done! Went out with three different group already and managed to spend some quality time with my tomodachis! :D I am such a good friend ahahaha.

8) Go on a freaking anime marathon! 8D

- Uhm, can't really start on this yet cuz my wig sprays haven't arrived yet. :C BUT. I did some styling on my imoutou's wig for her Lolita runway on CF. And i can say i'm super proud of my styling skills. >D

BEFORE. The color of the wig is really nice! But the thing is that the wig is way too curly and my sis didn't like it. So as a responsible onee-chan, i shall help her revamp the wig.

Did some straightening on the top part of the wig where there were some 'unwanted' curls and loosened up the curls at the bottom as they were too tight.

And all that i used was a wig comb and a HAIRDRYER. Yesh a hairdryer. My straightener was still with mai pic *partnerincrime* so i decided to give it a shot by using a hairdryer.

2 HOURS LATER.

AFTER. WAAAAHH! CHIO MAXX! 8D Even my sis was surprised! And she loved the outcome of it. :D
2 hours was really long! The process would be faster if i used a straightener but oh well. ALL IS WELL.

Wig belongs to pic. It was untrimmed and the fringe was super long so i had to pull the wig back a lot. But the fringe was still too long anyways.


Had some previous tryouts on guy-ish make up but i failed terribly so no pics. :x This time i felt that i improved a little, especially on the face shading part! Muh feiz lookz so sharp and slim hoho! And maybe next time i could try concealing my lips more cuz i haz thick lips.

Bought this pair of lens for my Mayoi cosplay. Quite satisfied with the lens as i wanted to find a pair of lens that are red yet not too obvious. And i Fairy Ruby Red has it all! Plus the enlarging effect is not bad! At first i wanted to get i Fairy Dolly Red but i saw reviews of them and the color was still super obvious even under low/ dim light! :o And if Ruby Red was still too obvious, i even thought of getting some pink lens. But i'll have to wait for next time then! :3

Not-too-recent-yet-not-too-long-ago, fine, during beginning of November, i started reading a manga called MAGI - The Labyrinth of Magic but mostly known as Magi.

One of my old school mate recommended me the manga. At first i was not too interested in reading it, but my friend told me it was those adventure and magical (DUH!) type. And i'm a sucker for adventure plus magical stories! If there are some with time traveling, the better! I can say most of my storybooks i read are those series like The Golden Compass, Harry Potter, Narnia and those modern science books.

Anyway, Magi is about this kid Aladdin (Ahh, the nostalgia!) who possesses a magical flute which can summon a djinn (pronounced 'jin') or better known as a genie named Ugo when played. So Aladdin travels to a lot of places and eventually made friends with a dude Alibaba (Getting more and more nostalgic.) Alibaba is a young merchant trying to earn a living by providing transportation services to people from Chishan, the village he currently resides to nearby areas. He has the blood of a royal family running through him.

And then a hell lot of things happened.
 *Will not elaborate to prevent from being a spoiler to those who have not read the manga. Thou i'll still put some hints here and there.*

Both of them eventually met a girl Morgiana, who was a slave and is from a country called 'The Dark Continent'. She is amazingly strong and fast and may appear as a aloof person but she has a kind and caring personality.

That's as far as i'll go. If i go any further, i'll end up telling the whole story lol! I really liked the character design of this series! Okay lah! Maybe because the guy characters are all so damn hot ehehe. Ohtaka Shinobu ftw! :P

Heeeere comes Sinbad! Mr. tall, dark and handsome and great and awesome asjoadfjisfjaifaoofa. Sinbad's more of a leader type. (Duh! King of Shindoria!) Being awesome and all!

Okay, maybe he don't look that awesomely hot here but i couldn't find any decent pic on google without Judal or Jaafar on top of him. Forget Zerochan tyvm.

This was the Sinbad i knew from Sinbad Legend of The Seven Seas when i was younger. Great storyline and show! :D

Had to pinch my nose whenever he appears in the manga hahaha.Officially the sexiest character ever in my book! 8D

He is the main antagonist of the series wtf. Of course lah! Only badass peepol are sexay right! He's quite ebil in the series. And playful and cheeky and according to MyAnimeList, somehow childish. Alaa! He likes to kacau peepol only ma! *Lesupportsjudalforeverlol. :3*

Was even more harder to find a freaking decent pic of Judal. Either his on top of Sinbad or below of Alibaba  wtf why am i even elaborating eet? So i ended up with the manga cover Everywhere spam le yaoi! This shows the power of yaoi. ;__; so powerful eet can conquer the world wtf.

Since Judal is so awesome, he deserves a second picture. :3

Okay, okay. Today i'm gonna do some serious rants, like seriouly serious rants.

Anywaaaaaaay, today, which is monday, 17 th of october marks the LAST WEEK OF MY GODDAMN FINALS BABEHH! I'm so happy that i nearly shed tears of joy wtf. So i've finally made a FULL and COMPLETE list of what imma do after the exams aaaaaall the way till the year end hols. Whoo, this is gonna be long! And thus, the blog title. Geddit now? :3

LIST OF PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITIES TO BE DONE BY END OF 2011.

1) Practice make up!
- Oh yes this is a must! I srsly don't wanna fail the way i did during Animangaki. :/
And and imma going for AFA too! Won't wanna look shitty in such a big event with so many people right?


2) Loose weight and gain abs! Wtf.
- This can be included in my lifetime to-do list orz. Yes, have been trying to loose weight since godknowswhen. I wanna fit in more nicer clothes which are obviously not available in my size. Even they have nice ones that fit me, they usually cost like what RM59 per top? I admit i'm a real cheapskate and i try my best clothes which are nice and affordable, like clothes you buy online. ;__; also i do wanna look good in my cosplay right? :) for this year, my goal is to loose around 2kg. If i manage to loose more, BETTER!


3) Complete missing parts of costumes for AFA!
- SHIT. Almost forgot weih! I still has to gather the remaining accessories for my cosplans for AFA! Have only like 2 weeks and a few days to do that after exams! Damn, must not procrastinate anymore! Imma lazy ass what to do? :/ ps, plans for AFA will be revealed real soon hohoho! :D


4) Do revision on Form 4 chapters. oTL
- Most dreaded one. :/ i mean i'm very unsatisfied with my results this year. Most of it is my fault anyway, being such a lazy ass. I can't afford to fool around anymore next year. 'It'll be the exam that will determine you future, dear.' says dad. Even thinking of it is making me so stress. Can't be lazy anymore next year. But first i have to get my Form 4 chapters completely understandable if imma move on to Form 5. Srsly, i admit there Re some stuff i still don't get. /shamelsslyadmits thats why imma use this hols to get those right so i won't suffer so much next year. :/


5) Sort out cosplay plan for 2012!
- Ahh, this one paling troublesome. Having SPM next year so gotta refrain from having plans starting from mid of october to Around beginning of december. Means no AFA next year sighss. Hopefully can make it in time for CF though! Will also be having plans with mai pic and mai twinnie. <3 ohh imagine all the money man! But thats my hobby so i gotta work hard for it despite being such a lazy ass... 6) Earn okane.
- GAHH. This one pun susah. If i no money, how to buy costumes how to buy nais clothes how to buy cosmetics how to buy contact lens orz orz orz... I gotta earn some money man! Idk how, but i MUST! For the sake of all those things i mentioned! Maybe i'll get a job. Or or maybe i can open some batch for pre orders or something? Hmm. Must try to earn at least 100 bucks this year! Goal set.


7) Hang out with friends more often.
- Wait. Go out = spend money... NUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! /criesfountainoftears T__T
Why do everything i do involves money? Shit! But srsly, i gotta hang out with my peeps more often. I mean if i COULD, that is. I don't wanna be a social outcast among my friends. ): goal for this task: hang out with 3 different groups by this year lol. Yesh, i ish friendly thats why i haz many kawans ehehehe. :3 i mean, i got classmates, ex-classmates who not gang with my current classmates so need separate outing lolololol, tuition friends. Orz money sure gone instantly sighs. ):


8) Go on a freaking anime marathon! 8D
- Hmm, sounds familiar? Looooooool! Confirm start after exam! :P


9) Complete plan and stuff for CF.
- Actually if i complete the task for AFA, then this one might be considered complete adi LOL. Yeah, poor ppl like me can't afford extra plans so all i can is recycle my AFA plan. Oh yeah! Gotta go get mock tickets for CF for sis and i before it solds out. D:


10) Comb and maintain wigs. ;__;
- I have neglected my wigs for as long as... Okay, quite long actually. And i'm sure most if them are prolly tangled and out of shape by now. D: /ishbadowner since i have 'so much' free time, i shall take them all out and give 'em a good brush. :) come to think of it, i think my luka wig is kinda tangled too. Luckily i ordered wig sprays from Yuki already.


Sooooo i guess that's all! Looks easy to complete at first but the more i think of it, the more i feel the workload lol! xD will be constantly updating bout the progress and completion of my to-do list! I'll make sure to have them completed! /firesup *w*
